Post Chilworth Manor Conservation Area
Firstly, this is my first post so hello to everyone on here :)

I know this is a little way outside the New Forest but there is a small, lily-covered pond in the conservation area behind Chilworth Manor where I've seen both Southern and Migrant Hawkers, Common Darters and Common Blue and Blue-tailed damselflies. Dragonflies and damselflies are not my particular forte so other interesting species may frequent the site. I visit the pond regularly so will keep my eyes open and try and identify what I see there.

The conservation area has a website at http://www.chilworthconservation.co.uk/

Post Re: Chilworth Manor Conservation Area
Hi Kevan,

Welcome to the forum!
Thanks for the information about the location.
I will try and get over for a look before the season closes.
If you spot anything we would love to hear about it or see any photos.

Best Wishes

Doug.
